Sundown Race Kit Collection

I got the written email confirmation from the Sundown Organizer that we can collect our race kit on the day of the race itself, i.e. 29 May 2010 at the race venue from 5.00pm onwards. Just proceed to the Information booth for such collection.
Now with those issue settled, I am planning to fly down and reach Singapore by noon 29 May 2010. Will try to check in early, if possible. Understand that some of us doing FM and 1/2 M will be there before 6 pm to wish off the ultra marathoners. I hope this information could help u guys planning for your travel down south for the run.

    Ziff, wah, this is news to me. Ekceli I made arrangements with Kash to collect.
    I thought of changing my flight laa. 9.00 pm now looks dangerous. The risk of flight delay, as mentioned by friends at PoJ that night, made me worried laa, bro. And I'd want to wish off the ultras too. You fly Firefly?

    With the new collection time, u can fly a bit late but not that late as the 9pm flight. No buffer period in case of delay etc.

    Still yet to book my flight. Tiger Air seems the cheapest (total round trip) but FireFly is the most convenient for us who are staying in Shah Alam/Subang/Damansara area. Will make the booking in couple of days time.

    Ziff, it's rm80 to change time. Pergh! But what to do, sabar jer lah. Let this be a lesson to me...
    I think I'll board 12.45pm so ETA 1.55pm.

    Yang petang sikit x der ker like 5-6pm? Then u can reach race venue latest by 8 pm. Still got 4 hours to kill before your start time.

    Ziff, the next flight is 2.50pm ETA 4.00pm. Ekceli, I haven't finalised. I might want to look for a new watch but then again, nothing is decided..

    Guys, if you want to collect on race day,make sure you personally email to the organiser first to let them know in advance.

    very the informative ziff. thanks. i've kirim dgn kash/rais already for the bib. hopefully i can get it from kash before sundown.

    my itenary should be : wait for det & alwin to arrive from KL by bus in JB then drive to changi. will try to make it before ultra flag-off. ziff, check in hotel mana? boleh kita orang tumpang freshen up after our half mara. boleh ke?

    At first i also think of asking Kash to collect the bib but lupa plak in my case i am using other ppl's name and that guy already signed the authorization form specifying my name to collect on his behalf.

    Bab hotel, aku dah book al-cheapo hotel somewhere in Victoria Street (i.e. between Bugis MRT and Lavender MRT). Aku tgk map, dekat2 gak dgn arab street. Cadang nak carbo load Bryani ZamZam kat arab street tu hehehe

    Kalau aku turun sorang, x der hal korang nak tumpang freshen up after the run tp wife aku plans to tag along in this trip :). Dia nak tgk-tgk heritage site kat Singapore tu pasai dia tgh buat master in heritage conservation. Tapi kalau nak lepak makan2 kat mana-mana lepas run x der hal bro. :)

    Ziff, Bryani Zam Zam itself dah kira heritage conservation. Perhaps I will just hang around the venue jadik kutu embun X)

    Eh kalau ada plan caebo load before the race, calling2 lah. I dont have plans that afteenoon and since i'm staying at jurong which is the other end of the world, i will leave early from home

    Ijam. Yes, twice i got the confirmation. I supposed they will just bring to the race venue the race kits of those who yet to collect, hence the after 5pm timeline
